About The Project

As a growing Offroad Accessory manufacturer, Wilco Offroad needed a new site to keep up with it’s new product offerings. With a large product line and range of vehicle fitments, filtering and categories were critical. We built a Shopify site to give them the 3rd party integrations they needed, and built out in-depth product pages and categories. This led to customers making more informed purchases, leading to fewer returns and higher customer satisfaction.

The Problem 

  • Existing website had limited vehicle compatibility for products which led customers to assume no options were available for their vehicle

  • Incomplete product information led to customer confusion resulting in incorrect purchases and a high return rate with low customer satisfaction 

  • Existing website was incompatible with 3rd party platforms, preventing access to shop features on Social Media Platforms

The Solution

  • We added dropdown menus, allowing the user to have a clear understanding of the product’s compatibility with their vehicle 

  • We created product categories for quick access into the features customers are most interested in, leading to a better customer experience

  • We provided in-depth information on product pages, allowing customers to purchase with confidence

  • We provided seamless integration with Social Media and 3rd Party Platforms allowing for a new sales channel and product integration into brand content

DISCOVER

Identifying the goals of the projects and taking a look at how other players in the same industry are tackling similar challenges.

DEFINE

Identifying the project goals, we define the user personas to gain an understanding of potential pain points. We crafted potential solutions and simulated the user flow.

IDEATE

Using the research we conducted, we began creating  the mood boards, wireframes and the information architecture, creating a clear direction and styling for the project.

DESIGN

Development of the site begins and the UI kit is established. We structure the typography, color palette, icons & buttons to ensure brand consistency across the site.

TEST

A/B tests are run across a variety of functions, ensuring various customer needs are met and final functions are optimized before going live to the public.
